​Learn how to include dynamic modeling and simulations into your Urban Dynamic courses with Dr. Nici Zimmermann. Dr. Zimmermann is a professor at University College London.

The seminar will focus on a teaching activity based on the small three stock Urban Dynamics simulation model. The activity provides an opportunity to explore how to model the effects of one variable on another, to think more deeply about policy design and where interventions impact the urban system, and to understand counterintuitive model behavior. It also helps students further familiarize themselves with the Stella software.

Nici will guide participants through the activity step by step, with time for questions and discussion.
