GeoHECHMS is an AutoCAD, MicroStation and ESRI ArcGIS compatible interactive 2D/3D graphical user interface data wrapper to the US Army Corps of Engineers HEC-HMS storm-water software.

GeoHECHMS greatly speeds up the creation, analysis, and review of storm-water models.

It automates sub-basin delineation, curve number (CN) computation using land use and soils maps, and lag time (time of concentration) computation.

GeoHECHMS allows you to rapidly construct, design, analyse and compare detention and retention ponds.

The webinar is a 2 hour interactive showcase of the advanced features of GeoHECRAS and GeoHECHMS, designed to provide you with an overview of ways to speed up:

FEMA floodplain projects

bridge and culvert analysis and design

other HEC RAS modelling work using GeoHECRAS.
Real flood study/bridges or culvert designs/hydraulic modelling/dam break analysis project would be worked upon. You would get to see how you can save 50-60 % of your current engineering cost and time. Real world engineering studies will be reviewed, showing different approaches to solving time-consuming HEC-RAS modelling issues.
You may raise questions regarding any problems being faced in your current scenarios – the presenter would try to solve them using GeoHECRAS and GeoHECHMS. Tips and tricks for increasing productivity will be provided.
